Personal profile

Research interests

My PhD research is focused on researching and developing a pilot intervention targeting parental responses to child trauma in the early post-trauma period. My research aims to integrate evidence-based cognitive-behavioural therapy components and input from families and clinical teams. The intervention seeks to effectively address dysfunctional parental responses and reduce child post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSS).

My wider research interests lie within child and adolescent mental health, with a specific focus on trauma exposure, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the intergenerational transmission of trauma.
