Research interests

Mustafa's research interests lie in social and developmental policies, with a particular focus on migration, conflict, education, humanitarianism, and the localization of aid. His current PhD research explores the impact of the urban-rural divide on sustainable peace in Afghanistan from the perspective of horizontal inequality. Additionally, he has contributed to academic research on Afghanistan's vision for economic development and equitable, inclusive research partnerships curried by University of Bath centre for Development studies.
