Research interests

My current research interests lie in the molecular simulation of naturally occurring biopolymers, with a particular interest in polysaccharides. My interests are motivated by the role of the circular economy within sustainable development.

My current research focuses on the molecular simulation of sorption to and transport of small molecules within a range of polymer structures.

The main focus of my research is the molecular simulation of the interaction between cellulose and a range of solvents, with an interest in understanding the dissolution behaviour of cellulose.
