Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests lie in the molecular simulation of sustainable biopolymers and green solvents. My interests are motivated by the role of the circular economy within sustainable development.

My current research focuses on the application of molecular simulation methods to investigate the structures of deep eutectic solvents to facilitate the industrial deployment of green solvents.

Research Interests:

  • The molecular simulation of the structure, dynamics, and thermodynamics of the interfaces formed between cellulose and green solvents
  • The molecular simulation of cellulose fibrils
  • The molecular simulation of the structures of deep eutectic solvents
