Research interests
I joined the University of Bath as a Lecturer in Social Work in November 2020. I have been working in Higher Education since March 2014. My social work practice background is in social work with people with learning disabilities and mental health difficulties.
My research interests centre on how social workers address safeguarding concerns for adults at risk. I am particularly interested in how people subject to statutory safeguarding processes are consulted and involved in risk planning and decision making.
