Personal profile

Research interests

I am currently working on the TRUUD project, a five-year project aiming to understand how prevention of non-communicable diseases might be fully considered and factored in to the decision-making of those in control of the quality of UK’s urban environments. Previously, I held academic appointments at University College London, Royal Holloway and University of Northampton (2014-2019).

I do research in the areas of (environmental) sustainability, environmental policymaking, business ethics and corporate social responsibility. My most recent research works aim to understand social and environmental sustainability in SMEs, environmental policymaking in developing country contexts and critical realism in organisational research.

I am an Associate Editor of The Annual Review of Social Partnerships (Routledge), which aims to bridge academic theory and practice with ideas about promoting the social good, and Environment, Development and Sustainability (Springer) - an international, multidisciplinary journal covering all aspects of the environmental impacts of socio-economic development. I also review for numerous reputable journals on an ad-hoc basis.
