Lucy is a doctoral researcher investigating the impact of frequent school moves on pupils. The project focuses on the impact of these moves on attainment, learning identities and friendships both for the children who move, and their peers.

- Individual and family factors that affect children's learning and education
- Individual differences in adaptation to new working or learning environments
- Individual differences in managing life transitions, such as the primary-secondary school transition, or transition to parenthood
