Teaching interests
Louise is a part-time member of staff who has taught consecutive and simultaneous interpreting to Masters students on the University’s flagship MAIT course since 2000.
She is a freelance translator and conference interpreter, working mainly for international organisations including the EU institutions, International Court of Justice, European Patent Office, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and European Central Bank. She is a member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC) and President of Calliope-Interpreters, the only global network of consultant interpreters endorsed by AIIC.
