Research interests

Laura is a Research Associate in the Department of Psychology and a member of the Centre for Pain Research.  She is currently involved in the Consortium to Research Individual, Interpersonal and Social influences in Pain. She recieved her PhD in Psychology from the Univeristy of Surrey in 2021. Laura's research interests are broadly in symptom perception, with a focus on the role of emotional processing and interpretation of bodily sensations.
