I am interested in natural language processing, both in humans and in computational systems.  

My most recent research projects were in the area of psycholinguistics, including studies on language acquisition, particularly semantic memory consolidation, using both behavioural and EEG methodology. I have also investigated generalisation of linguistic knowledge when reading aloud in complex writing systems (such as English), using both empirical and computational methods.

My current work revolves around sentiment analysis, with the aim to uncover commonly used computational methods, areas of application and quality of research in this field.
