Mr
My PhD is part of the "Moments of Change for pro-environmental behaviour shifts (MOCHA)" project funded by the European Research Council - https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/820235
It examines how pro-environmental lifestyle changes might be achieved through understanding and harnessing ‘moments of change’ in life circumstances. The moments of change I am exploring are the transitions from high school to university/work life, and from university to work life. I am looking at a wide range of pro-environmental behaviours both with a big and a small impact, e.g. consumer behaviours, travelling behaviours, recycling, eating behaviours, environmental activism, etc. Additionally, my research is also focused on people who are currently in the stage of their life known as "late adolescence" and it aims to draw cross-cultural comparisons.
I am further passionate about research in the domains of Cyberpsychology (exploring the effects of engaging with social networking sites on psychological states such as subjective well-being, social connection, social capital, etc), Consumer Psychology, Decision-Making, and Behavioural Economics.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
