Research interests
My research interests centre on language education policy, intercultural communication, language teacher education, multilingual learning, and international Chinese education. My doctoral research explores overseas teaching placements in international Chinese education, focusing on how institutional expectations, local teaching practices, assessment tools, and intercultural experiences shape teacher learning and professional development. I am also interested in inclusive education, doctoral researcher development, and the role of educational technology and AI in supporting language teaching and learning across diverse educational contexts.
