Personal profile

Research interests

My research focuses on the use of digital health technologies to support mental health and well-being. I am particularly interested in the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and smartphone applications for mental health support, and how individual differences - such as personality traits - influence mental well-being and the effectiveness of digital interventions.

I am also interested at the interplay between physical health and mental well-being, and I take a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to understanding and improving health outcomes. Previously, I have researched digital interventions addressing public health challenges - such as evaluating interventions to reduce COVID-19 transmission in households and promoting COVID-19 testing uptake in school settings.

Teaching interests

I am interested in teaching a range of different topics relevant to my area of expertise, including: Applied Psychology, Mental Well-being, Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, Individual Differences, and Quantitative and Qualitative research methods.
