Research interests

Joe graduated with a master’s in physics from the University of Bath in 2019. His final year project was on using the 3D printed OpenFlexure microscope to automate the detection of 2D materials.

He is working towards his PhD as part of the C3Bio Initiative “Grand Challenges in Health Technologies”, where he is researching Globally Accessible Diagnostic Microscopy under Richard Bowman.
