Research interests

Evidence-based interventions for people with drug addiction problems including safer injecting, effective injecting paraphernalia and the provision of pharmaceutical care from community pharmacies. Also, the expansion of pharmaceutical care for drug users including the development of models of care e.g. good practice in supervised consumption, pharmacy-based needle exchange and pharmacist-led addiction clinics. Ethical reasoning within research and clinical pharmacy practice.
