Originally from Cardiff, Jasmine has also lived many years in Paris. She graduated with a MChem from the University of Sheffield in 2017. During this time, she undertook a placement at Scott Bader, investigating the applications of bio-derived monomers in polyester-based resins and adhesives. She then worked under the supervision of Dr Rob Dawson in her final year project, developing functionalised microporous organic polymers for carbon dioxide capture. In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys playing music, triathlons and has recently taken up ice hockey. Jasmine is currently in the first year of her integrated PhD on the CDT in Sustainable Chemical Technologies.
