Research interests

Jane is a Senior Lecturer in the Information Decisions and Operations Division of University of Bath’s School of Management. 

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and has spent the last 30 years in industry, as a senior executive in a number of sectors. She holds a PhD from the University of Bath in Commercial Relationships and been a past president of CIPS. 

Throughout her career she has been an advocate of collaborative supply chain management strategies espousing the benefits of implementing research-based approaches to business supply chains.  

Her most recent experience was as Managing Director of Shared Services across Europe, Middle East and Africa for a large financial institution. 

She is keen to support research looking at buyer-supplier psychology and also in the extended use of Artificial Intelligence in negotiation strategies.
