Personal profile
Research interests
PhD candidate in Physiology and Immunology, investigating adipose tissue ageing and the impact on muscle protein synthesis. Current research examines the immunophenotype of aged adipose tissue using spectral flow cytometry and employs adipose–muscle co-culture models to elucidate functional and molecular mechanisms regulating muscle protein synthesis.
