Research interests

My interests are in the Design and Development of Robotic Systems especially for Healtcare applications. Specifically I am looking into the aspect of safety and how we can create new systems that can receive certification and reach patients faster.

To achieve this I am looking into new ways to analyse the unsafe conditions in compex Robotic Systems and new control approaches that are taking into consideration the context of the operation of a system. Key is the interaction with the human user and how the perspective and understanding of the user affects the control and safety of systems.

In addition to Healthcare I am working on Agrocultural Robotics and the application of Robotic Systems to improve production. I am interested on mobile tobotic system that can aassist producers to precisely target individual plants and provide the necessery measures to improve yields.
