Research interests
I am broadly interested in social and environmental influences on health behaviour, particularly alcohol and food consumption. This includes:
- portion and packaging size
- alcohol strength
- warning labels and advertising
- stigma related to heavy drinking and weight.
I have used a wide range of methods to study these topics, including:
- laboratory and field experiments
- eye-tracking
- online surveys
- secondary analysis of large datasets
- interviews and focus groups
- documentary analysis
