Research interests

Huma Javaid is a PhD candidate at University of Bath, School of Management. Her research interests include mergers and acquisitions, inter-organisational relationships, corporate venture capital investments, strategic alliances and innovation performance. Her current research focuses on the role of inter-organisational relationships on the choice of takeover targets and their impact on post-acquisition innovation performance. She is interested in exploring high technology acquisitions and uses observational data by integrating large datasets which are analysed using STATA and advanced econometric models. Her scholarly research work is supported by various scholarships and awards.

Teaching interests

Her teaching interests are mainly strategy and quantitative research methods in business and management.
