Personal profile

Research interests

I am a PhD researcher in Nutrition and Metabolism investigating how acute and intermittent nutrient restriction influence metabolic regulation and cardiometabolic health. My work examines the physiological and biochemical responses to dietary manipulation in humans, with a focus on glycaemic control and lipid metabolism.

With a background in nutrition and a Master’s degree specialising in diabetes, my broader research interests centre on the aetiology and prevention of metabolic disease. I am particularly interested in how dietary patterns and timing strategies can be leveraged to improve cardiometabolic outcomes, and how wearable technologies and clinical biomarkers can be combined to characterise metabolic responses in real-world settings.
