Research interests

My research is exact and heuristic algorithms for integer and mixed-integer optimisation problems and their applications to healthcare and logistics problems. My expertise with exact optimisation methods includes branch-and-cut-and-price and cutting plane algorithms, especially for vehicle routing problems. In terms of heuristic optimisation methods, I have utilized variants of local search, tabu search, and large neighbourhood search in my papers and I have a working knowledge of genetic algorithms and neural networks. The areas of application for my research extend to the optimisation of ambulance location, vehicle routing, and airline crew scheduling.
