Personal profile

Research interests

I research geohazards, especially earthquakes, tsunamis, and landslides, with a focus on earthquake focal mechanisms, rupture processes, and tsunami dynamics and hazards. Using seismic, GPS, and satellite data, I apply forward modeling and inversion techniques to better understand these natural events. My goal is to evaluate their impacts on coastal communities and contribute to more effective disaster preparedness and risk reduction. In future research, I aim to incorporate machine learning techniques and high-resolution satellite remote sensing to build early warning systems for disaster risk reduction.
