Research interests
For my PhD project I will aim to assess the properties and behaviour of lime based mortars in the mortar-substrate interfacial zone and their effect on the surrounding medium. The focus will be on lime mortar mixes for use in the historic built environment which must possess key properties including breathability and adequate, but not excessive, strength.
