Development and optimisation of new advanced concepts for smart inspection

Development and optimisation of new advanced concepts for smart inspection by employing linear and nonlinear ultrasound techniques for imaging and detection of early stage damage/defects during the manufacturing and in-service life of aerospace structures. With an ultimate goal of reduction in maintenance costs, accelerated inspection times and improved damage identification and evaluation.
