Personal profile

Research interests

With a background in Linguistics, my expertise lies in teaching adults the acquisition of second languages. Over a carreer spanning more than 15 years, I have served as an English language educator in various universities and countries, including Chile, the United States and the UK.

My research focuses on identifying optimal language immersion scenarios conducive to achieving advanced levels of phonological proficiency in English among second language learners. Specifically, I focus on improving phonetics features, particularly among adult learners, to enhance fluency in their second speech.

Additionally, I have a keen interest in projects aimed at developing students's writing skills in ESL.
