Research interests

I am interested in a novel treatment for polyethylene implants to enhance their X-ray attenuation, to enable direct imaging both during and after surgery and provide novel informative measurement and clinical outcome. I am examining the influence of treatment on the suitability of the material for medical implant to optimise the process. My PhD project involves both practical work and mathematical modelling and simulation studies.
