Profile

Evripides joined the Mechanical Engineering department in 2016. He has a diverse set of interests, particularly relating to the mechanics and manufacturing of thin structures. Before joining the University of Bath, Evripides was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and a Research Fellow at Darwin College. From 2018 to 2020 he was a Researcher in Residence at the MTC. He is a Chartered Engineer (IMechE) and a Research Affiliate of the International Academy of Production Engineers (CIRP). He is currently the Programme Tutor for Year 2 in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Education

Evripides obtained his PhD in the Advanced Structures group at the University of Cambridge on the topic of multistable shells. He conducted his undergraduate work at MIT and also holds an M.S. from Columbia University.
