Personal profile
Research interests
PhD student in the Jungwirth laboratory. My research involves investigating the crosstalk between tumour cells, fibroblasts and the extracellular matrix in metastatic breast cancer, as well as the impact of breast cancer therapies on this crosstalk. In my project I use cancer models, in vitro 2D and 3D co-culture systems and expression analysis to assess therapeutic effects on fibroblasts and what impact this has on their pro- and anti-tumorigenic phenotypes.
