Emily Johnstone is a doctoral researcher applying her background in psychology to investigate the interplay between human behaviour and digital technology in the context of intimate partner violence. Her PhD investigates how digital technologies in the home can perpetuate individual and societal harm. Through collaborations with third-sector organisations and industry partners, her research incorporates an understanding of new and emerging technologies to develop recommendations for navigating and mitigating risks. She welcomes opportunities for further collaboration.
