Emily is in the process of completing her PhD at the School of Management, University of Bath, as part of an EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security. Here, Emily works in an interdisciplinary and mixed methods manner, utilising perspectives from the social sciences to investigate the communication and commercialisation of conspiracy theories and the managerial processes related to content moderation.
Emily is also a Senior Research Associate at University of Bristol Business School, working on an ESRC-funded project from within the Marketing and Consumption group exploring self-avatars in virtual environments.
Previously, Emily has acquired both a masters and undergraduate degree in Human Geography from the University of Bristol.
