Research interests

Emily is currently pursuing a PhD in the School of Management at the University of Bath, under the auspices of EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Cyber Security

Emily works in an interdisciplinary and mixed methods manner, utilising perspectives from the social sciences (including psychology, sociology, marketing, geography, and politics) to investigate aspects of digital culture. Currently, Emily primarily investigates the communication and commercialisation of conspiracy theories online.

Previously, Emily has acquired both a masters and undergraduate degree in Human Geography from the University of Bristol.
