Profile

I am an Educational Psychologist, registered with the HCPC, currently working as a Research Associate within the Psychology Department. Most of my work to date has involved working with children and young people with a variety of Special Educational Needs both within research and school/community settings.
Prior to joining the University of Bath I was a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, where I worked on a large programme of research that focussed on early detection and intervention for ADHD. I maintain good links with my colleagues at Southampton and continue to have an interest in this area.
Currently I am working on a specific project funded by the Leverhulme Trust. This work focusses on developing and evaluating new technology to support the writing and delivery of Social Stories™, an intervention that I have found to be extremely valuable when working with children with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
