Dr. Zhang is an IEEE senior member (EMBS, RAS, and SMC) and an IFESS lifetime member. He was a board member of IFESS, a youth commission member of ISBE. He serves in 3 technical committees in societies of EMBS and SMC. He is an associate editor (or editorial board member) of 5 journals: IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Medical Robotics and Bionics, IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems & Rehabilitation, Frontiers in Neuroscience, and Frontiers in Neurorobotics.
Research interests
His research interests include Rehabilitation Robotics, Neural Technologies, Brain-Computer Interfaces, and Robotic Exoskeletons.
