Personal profile

Research interests

I joined the University of Bath in 2017. In my research I investigate the performance and career paths of researchers and industrial inventors, as well as inter-organisational and inter-sectoral collaboration. At the moment I am particularly interested in open science, gender biases in science, and career decisions of young researchers. I am also the convenor of an annual conference on the organisation, economics and policy of scientific research.

Willing to supervise PhD

I welcome enquiries from prospective PhD students interested in quantitative research in the broader area of science and innovation studies. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your proposal.
