Personal profile

Research interests

My overarching research interest is in identifying ways to support equitable educational progression. My work explores how inequalities are structured and reproduced and how inequitable practices can be challenged. I have specialised in research and evaluation that considers ways to support cross sector progression, particularly through outreach activity (HEI, third sector and employer) with schools and colleges, and I have contributed nationally and internationally to the development of outreach programmes. A particular interest is access and progression in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
