Accepting Doctoral Students

Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests are in the area of electrified vehicle powertrains, and more widely in environmentally friendly forms of mobility. I generally focus on the system level: understanding where new technologies could be introduced to benefit the powertrain system, or where the full potential of existing technologies is not realised. I also examine the system-level barriers to new technology uptake and how these can be overcome to enable faster change.

I am a member of IAAPS - Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems.

Willing to supervise doctoral students

I am interested in supervising PhDs in the areas of electric powertrains and green mobility.
