Research interests
My research areas involve cognitive and neural studies investigating the strengths (sensory and perecptual processing, attention, deliberation etc.) and weaknesses (emotion processing, empathy, gaze etc.) in autism and to use the knowledge from the research to develop programmes to help the autistic community. This includes programmes designed to help the transitions into university and from university into employment, and to help support students with autism at university.
