Research interests

Chenchen is a Lecturer in Finance at the School of Management, University of Bath. Before joining the school in 2022, Chenchen was a Lecturer in Finance at Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. 

Chenchen's research interests include empirical corporate finance, M&As, strategic alliances and joint ventures, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and syndicated loans.

Chenchen has published her PhD chapter paper at the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. Her research findings have been featured in Duke University School of Law The FinReg Blog. Chenchen has presented her papers at world-leading conferences, such as the Financial Management Association Annual Meeting/European Meeting, European Financial Management Association Annual Meeting (Semi-finalist GARP Best Paper Award), Southwestern Finance Association Annual Meeting, and World Finance Conference, etc.
