Research interests
Calum's research considers the intersection of ecological Marxism, political ecology, and grassroots organisation in post-conflict contexts. His doctoral project focuses on how these dynamics develop through the concept of 'territorial peace' in Colombia, critiquing its implementation in governmental policy and exploring how the concept can be reimagined through community organisation, participatory methods, and prefigurative politics.
