Research interests

Nowadays he is a PhD student at University of Bath, Bath, UK. He has the title of Bachelor (2012) and M.Sc. (2015) in Mechanical Engineering by São Paulo State University “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”, (UNESP) - Bauru Campus, Engineering College of Bauru. During the undergraduate degree (2008-2012), he developed research projects for three years, all of them supported by a CNPq/PIBIC scholarship. At that time, he carried out research about finite element modelling and the biomechanical behaviour of dental prostheses. He was three times awarded (2010, 2011 and 2012) as one of the best papers at the Scientific Initiation Congress of UNESP, Local Meeting(Bauru). During his Masters’ degree, he studied and developed research about numerical modelling of biomechanical structures, focusing on the analysis of the fatigue problem on dental prostheses. Currently, he is a PhD Student at University of Bath, Bath, UK, and develops study about the biomechanical behaviour of cervical spine under impact loads using the Finite Element Method. He has several specialization courses in mechanical and finite element area. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering, acting on the following topics: dental prosthesis, cervical spine, Finite Element Method, mechanical project, nemerical modelling and fatigue.
