Research interests

I am a Language Coordinator for German. I have worked as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Politics, Languages & International Studies, and Team Leader for German in the Foreign Languages Centre since 2000.

I graduated from the University of Hildesheim (First State Examination) and was awarded my Second State Examination for the Teaching Profession from the Berlin Senat.

I have taught German as a foreign language in various schools around Somerset, business German at the University of the West of England in Bristol and I have worked as a freelance translator for many years.

Since 2010, I am a certified International Baccalaureate Language A1 Teacher for German literature.

I work as an external examiner for Kingston University in London. I also teach German language at all levels.
