I am an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Bath and a Consultant in Public Health at Wakefield Council. My academic role at Bath is exploring systems approaches to the upstream, particularly commercial, determinants of health as part of the Local Health & Global Profits research consortium. My Wakefield role covers public health intelligence, strategy, sexual health, domestic abuse and the wider determinants of health (including economic and environmental) as well as research development currently focused on the BABI Wakefield cohort as part of the HDRC. I am an active member of several Faculty of Public Health special interest groups, including sustainable development, and the commercial determinants of health.
