Anastasios Koukoumelis joined the department of economics in January 2015.

He received his PhD in Economics from the University of York and held a post-doctoral position at the University of Heidelberg.

He was previously a visiting professor at the University of Verona and a research associate at the Max Planck Institute of Economics.
