Research interests

My research focuses on the management of technological innovation. I am currently exploring open and distributed models of innovation, social networks and innovation, and university-industry collaboration. My research typically involves engagement with policy and practice through collaborative projects with industrial and governmental partners. I have published over 50 peer reviewed articles in academic journals, such as Strategic Management JournalOrganization ScienceAcademy of Management ReviewAcademy of Management JournalResearch Policy, Industrial and Corporate Change and in practice-oriented journals, such as Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review and California Management Review.
