Research interests

Alison joined the Library Research Data Service in March 2018 as a Research Data Librarian. She has 20 years of experience as an epidemiologist conducting population-based research on the epidemiology of rheumatic diseases and on the post-marketing use and safety of medicines in primary care. She also has experience of applying for funding and managing multcentre international collaborative research projects and of research programme management. Within the Library Research Data Service Alison has expertise in writing and reviewing complex data management plans and is responsible for providing training and support to academic and research staff and students on all aspects of research data management. 

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
