Personal profile

Research interests

My interests of research relate to Digital Methods, Consumer Culture, Branding and Smartphone Use.

Specifically, my current work focuses on online brands and consumers. In particular, my main research interests have concerned: a) the observation and understanding of the social formations (such as communities, crowds, and publics) emerging around brands within digital environments; and b) the observation and understanding of cultural formations (such as social imaginaries, identities, and ideologies) emerging from the practices of use of digital environments acted by consumers as well as from the interactions among consumers within digital environments.

Also, I am currently PI for WP3 in the project Aging in a Networked Society (https://www.researchgate.net/project/Aging-in-a-networked-society-Older-people-social-networks-and-well-being) funded, on a competitive basis, by Fondazione Cariplo. My responsibilities include designing and leading a study on Smartphone Internet Use among older people based on Digital Methods and traditional Qualitative Methods.

Teaching interests

My teaching interest fall into the area of Digital Marketing and Business, Digital Methods for Consumer Culture Research and Digital Culture

Other responsibilities

I am currently responsible for the academic lead on the School of Management Students Association (SoMSA).
