Research interests

My research lies within the field of non linear physics where I am focused on the theory of dissipative solitons and topological defects. 

At the moment I am working in modelling solitons in microresonators characterised by strong χnon linearity and high dimensional solitons in Kerr microresonators.

I am also interested in the theory of out-of-equilibrum quantum fluids. In particular, in the dynamics of topological defects (superfluid vortices) in Bose Einstein Condensates and superfluid liquid helium-4.
