Research interests

Abdulraman is a dedicated professional with a passion for promoting sustainability within the construction sector. He has collaborated with a consortium of partners, gaining valuable insights into data gathering and analysis for environmental impacts. Through his work, Abdulrahman conducted a life cycle assessment (LCA) of two European buildings, utilising SimaPro software and the Ecoinvent database.

Currently, Abdulrahman is pursuing a PhD focused on the sustainability of buildings. His research endeavors revolve around addressing Scope 3 emissions within the construction industry. Supervised by Stephen AllenAoife Houlihan-Wiberg and Jonathan Norman (Leeds), he aims to develop a tailored hybrid LCA method for the UK construction sector, striving to contribute meaningfully to sustainable practices in the industry.
