The Centre for Smart Warehousing and Logistics Systems brings together academics conducting research in warehousing, transportation and logistics applications. We have a strong interest in applied research and a focus in the development of innovative methods for improved operations management and decision making. We conduct top-quality research utilising emerging technologies and tools that has a strong potential to make a substantial impact to business and the society.
We work with business, end-customers and professional organisations to motivate our research, develop best practice and disseminate our results.
Members of the centre participate to the School of Management PhD programme, while the School offers an MSc in Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and,–along with the Department of Mechanical Engineering– an MSc in Innovation and Technology Management and an MSc in Engineering Business Management.
